The first menopause cafe went ahead at the PCN last Saturday (24th Jan) and seems to have been well received!
Next dates are as follows:
Saturday 21st February - Grande Prairie Library (registration is via the library website)
Saturday 28th March 11-1pm - PCN (registration via the PCN website)
I will run cafes on an alternating basis at the PCN and the library month by month, going forward.
There are also cafes planned in Beaverlodge and some of the Reserves local to GP 
I have been unable to register for the cafe at the library, and it is now stating full. Is there any chance I could make it in? The website kept crashing on me every time I tried to sign up. Thought I would ask here. I booked the day off work to make it, but it looks like I might not be able to 
I am really sorry to hear that. For the cafes being run at the library, it is the library who is in charge of ticketing. You could try phoning them if the website is not working - I know they run a wait list for each cafe. There will be more dates at both the PCN and the library moving forward, as well as a cafe out in Beaverlodge. As these come up, I am adding them to the ‘events’ section of the forum so people have as much notice as possible. Are you able to get change round your working hours so you’ve not lost out on that working day you took off?
